PSM Section
The mandate of the PSM section covers the operation, maintenance, and development of EN-CV`s technical infrastructure at CERN`s Meyrin site. Installations under the section`s responsibility include cooling, air-conditioning, ventilation, and fire-fighting systems, chilled water, and compressed air production plants as well as heating, water, and wastewater networks that are essential for the operation of CERN`s injector complex and experimental, scientific, production and computing facilities at Meyrin.
The section bears the responsibility for the reliability and serviceability of EN-CV infrastructure at Meyrin as well as for its energy efficiency, safety, and environmental aspects.
The section is in charge of the organization, coordination, and supervision of maintenance activities as well as works for projects and consolidation efforts at Meyrin and holds responsibility for technical management of the Meyrin site`s maintenance contract.
